Culver Second Century Main Street includes local business leaders and community members aiming to revitalize the downtown area of the Marshall County town.
OCRA says Culver Second Century is looking to encourage cooperation and build leadership in the local business community in an effort to stimulate downtown revitalization and preserve the town’s historic core.
"Our Culver Main Street board is dedicated to fostering a mutually beneficial economic development effort to support our Main Street area, all Culver businesses, and attract many more businesses, customers, visitors, and residents to our beautiful and unique lakeside community,” said Dick Swennumson, president of Culver Second Century Main Street. "This action and outstanding recognition reflects a significant, concerted effort by the Culver Town Council, Town Manager Jonathan Leist, our Main Street board, and scores of dedicated Culver businesses and citizens along with the support and guidance from the State of Indiana’s economic development professionals."
The Indiana Main Street Program encourages economic development, redevelopment and improvement to downtowns throughout Indiana. You can learn more about the program by clicking here.
