The city of Crown Point has announced construction plans for a hotel, the city’s first, according to our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana.

Valparaiso-based Good Hospitality Services is the developer for a Hampton Inn. The paper says it will be built off Interstate 65 in the Beacon Hill area of the city.

The publication reports the hotel will be built across the street from a new orthopedic center. Officials broke ground on that project Thursday.

Both the orthopedic facility and the hotel are slated to open in spring 2021.
