Fishers-based Rebar Development is constructing the three-story structure called The Oliver. It includes 26 Class-A loft apartments, plus first-floor office space and a restaurant.
The Oliver is part of the community’s redevelopment plan to attract residents and visitors to the downtown area.
“When we first started these redevelopment efforts seven years ago, one of the biggest desires we heard from Yorktown residents was to create a social and economic hub for the town. The Oliver is a tremendous asset in realizing this goal,” said Pete Olson, town manager of Yorktown.
The complex is located near Civic Green park and the Yorktown Town Hall. It is named after the founder of Yorktown, Oliver Hampton Smith.
The development is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2022 with plans to start leasing next spring.
