Conner Prairie Names Two Directors

She has more than 26 years of fundraising experience. McGuffey previously worked for Methodist Health Foundation, now the IU Health Foundation, where she was chief development officer since 2015.
She started her career with Indiana University Foundation, where she served as development director and coordinator of campaign planning. McGuffey then spent 13 years with Riley Children’s Foundation in various roles, including acting director of development, director of campaign planning and director of special gifts. She then joined College Mentors for Kids as a development officer and later Ronald McDonald House of Indiana as a major gifts officer.
McGuffey earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University. She is a member of the Indiana chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. McGuffey is an elder, member of the Sanctuary Choir and member of the Chapel Organ Task Force at Second Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis.
Also, David Wagner has been appointed director of facilities. He previously served in a similar role for Compass Group USA at Texas A&M University in San Antonio, Texas. Wagner also served as maintenance operations manager with Compass Group USA at Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas.
He is a certified facility manager through the International Facility Management Association and president of the organization’s Indianapolis chapter. Wagner was recently awarded the Solomon award and named facilities manager of the year by the Worship Facilities Magazine and Conference. He is also a member of the International Facility Management Association, the U.S. Green Building Council and APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities.
Wagner earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Bible College in Hollywood, Florida, and a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Indianapolis.
