The foundation has distributed nearly $1.9 million in grant awards. Recipients include the Allen County Fort Wayne Historical Society, Cancer Services of Northeast IN and YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.
Here are the grant recipients:
- ACRES, ($20,000) – Attainment, conservation, and management of nature preserves
- African/African-American Historical Society of Allen County ($8,000) – Historical preservation of local African American culture
- Allen County Education Partnership ($35,000) – Literacy program for kindergarten through third grade children
- Allen County Fort Wayne Historical Society ($20,000) – K-12 student group tour visitation program
- ARCH ($10,000) – Protection and preservation of historic places in Allen County
- Associated Churches of Fort Wayne Indiana ($30,000) – Services for priority needs in the community
- Blue Jacket ($10,000) – Vocational training and employment services for disadvantaged
- Cancer Services of Northeast IN ($25,000) – Client services program
- Crime Victim Care of Allen County Indiana ($15,000) – Immigrant and refugee support services
- Crossroad Child & Family Services ($10,000) – Treatment services for troubled children and their families
- Early Childhood Alliance ($40,000) – Early care and education
- East Wayne Street Center ($25,000) – Adult basic education
- Erin’s House for Grieving Children ($20,000) – Grief support services
- Fort Wayne Dance Collective ($10,000) – Dance and dance education programs
- Fort Wayne Society of St. Vincent DePaul ($10,000) – Food, clothing, and transportation services
- Headwaters Counseling ($15,000) – Programs to develop healthy relationships
- Matthew 25 ($50,000) – Healthcare services to uninsured, low income residents of Allen County
- Positive Resource Center ($35,000) – Care coordination, education, and outreach programs
- Unity Performing Arts Foundation ($10,000) – Youth choral membership assistance program
- Vincent Village ($42,500) – Programs serving homeless families with children
- Wellspring Interfaith Social Services ($45,000) – Youth after school and summer day camp programs
- YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne ($45,000) – Renaissance Pointe YMCA’s after school and summer learning programs, and the Youth Services Bureau’s Status Offender Court Alternative Program
