WiserOwl cites data from Forbes, which estimates businesses lose $75 billion each year because of poor customer service.
“More than 80 percent of consumers say they would switch to a competitor after more than one bad customer experience, which has put Contact Centers on the front line of corporate success right now,” said Robert Bradshaw, founder and chief executive officer of WiserOwl. “Contact Centers face more pressure than ever before to deliver flawless service. This is coming at a difficult time in which the pandemic has both increased call volume and driven employee churn to record levels. Contact Center managers are in the hot seat right now, and most don’t have the financial clarity they need to make fundamental operational decisions.”
WiserOwl says the average contact center representative uses 8.6 different platforms to do their jobs. The company says its platform connects and integrates disparate technologies to provide real-time data regarding the agent and process level.
