The college esports teams will battle it out in what officials are calling the first collegiate of its kind in Indiana.
Central Indiana-based Evolve Youth Esports is hosting the event and provides guided video game competitions in Fortnite, Super Smash Brothers and Rocket League. Competitions are available to all skill levels and ages, and are administered by experienced members of the esports community.
The event aims to provide an opportunity for young gaming fans and their parents to learn more about collegiate esports as well as meet with players and team staff. Participants will also gain a better understanding of the growing esports industry.
Inside Indiana Business reporter Mary Rachel Redman will have more on Evolve Youth Esports on this weekend’s edition of Inside Indiana Business with Gerry Dick.
