The project involves more than 75,000 square feet of retail space and will include new major retailers.
The mall will welcome the addition of 365 by Whole Foods Market, which will anchor the northwest side of the mall. The project also includes a new 10,000 square-foot Ulta Beauty (Nasdaq: ULTA) store.
Simon says both stores will be open to shoppers in the fall of 2017.
"This redevelopment touches every aspect of the shopping experience for our guests, from the breadth of shopping and dining options, to the comfort and ease of use of our center," said Ellery Likens, general manager of College Mall. "We are very excited to introduce the new College Mall to local shoppers."
The 365 by Whole Foods Market and Ulta Beauty additions add up to 17,000 square feet of new small-shop retail space. The project will also see new exterior entrances and refreshed walkways.
Simon also announced the addition of a 5,000 square-foot Panera Bread location, which is expected to open in November. The entire redevelopment project comes less than a month after College Mall announced the addition of a Red Robin restaurant, which is slated to open this summer.
