CloudOne Bags Big Boost

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowFishers-based CloudOne Inc. has landed a $9 million round of funding. The company says the infusion comes after four consecutive years of more than 100 percent revenue growth. The funding group was led by Michigan-based Plymouth Ventures and included investors such as Indiana’s Elevate Ventures and former Indianapolis Colt Ryan Diem. In all, the company has received nearly $22 million in equity investments since its founding in 2010.
Other investors in this most-recent round include California-based Hercules Technology Growth Capital, as well as Bootstrap Venture Fund and Chatham Ventures.
CloudOne Chief Financial Officer Brett Sharp says "CloudOne continues to execute on a bold vision to be the leading IoT solutions enabler to some of the world’s best companies. This funding provides us with a tremendous opportunity to continue helping our customers advance their IoT initiatives."
