Chief Executive Officer Caitlin Coffman says the switch to MomentPath reflects a commitment to "improving and enriching the lives of all those that use our software."
The company launched as tend.ly in 2014. The platform offers billing, scheduling, curriculum, reporting and standards tracking resources for preschools and child care centers. The company has raised more than $1.1 million in funding to date.
Earlier this year, when the company announced a $1 million seed funding round from investors including Scott McCorkle, Eric Tobias and Indianapolis-based Elevate Ventures, Coffman called the investment a sign of growth potential in an "enormous" market. During an interview in May, Coffman said the industry is still very paper-driven, calling it "ready for disruption."
MomentPath says, since its 2014 launch, the platform has processed more than 2.1 million interactions.
In an interview in May, MomentPath Chief Executive Officer Caitlin Coffman told Inside INdiana Business the company will be widening its focus and beefing up marketing efforts as a result of the funding boost.
