Chamber Unveils ‘Best Places to Work’ Rankings

Subscribe NowThe Indiana Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the rankings for its 2017 Best Places to Work in Indiana list. The organization honored the companies Tuesday night in front of more than 1,200 people at the Indiana Convention Center. The chamber says the employers represent more than 25 industries and 20 cities throughout the state.
The top honorees were Carmel-based Luther Consulting (small companies), Indianapolis-based Gregory & Appel Insurance (medium companies), Indianapolis-based Blue 449 (large companies) and Microsoft Corp. in Indianapolis (major companies). The 100 companies range in size from 15 employees at SMARI in Indianapolis to more than 1,700 at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond.
The 2017 Best Places to Work rankings are:
*Hall of Fame companies (companies that have been named a Best Place to Work in Indiana at least two-thirds of the time in the program’s history)
**Pinnacle companies (companies that have finished first in their category three or more times in a five-year period)
