While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, CertaSite says Ace’s reputation will allow it to grow its customer base and expand into new markets.
Ace, founded in 1964, is a full-service fire protection business serving the greater Lafayette region.
“We are grateful to Bob, Bryan and the entire Ace Fire Protection family for their continued partnership throughout this process,” said Jeff Wyatt, CEO of CertaSite. “We are committed to preserving the legacy these dedicated professionals built and recognize and respect their strong local presence. We look forward to building on that foundation by offering employees development and career advancement, and expanded services and support to customers.”
Former owners Bob and Bryan Thomas will remain with the company through the transition. CertaSite says Ace’s employees retained their jobs through the acquisition and have joined CertaSite.
“CertaSite is the perfect partner to build on the foundation laid by our employees and customers,” said Bob and Bryan Thomas. “With CertaSite, we have a unique opportunity to blend our knowledge base with a technology-based platform that offers new product lines, is professional and rooted in best practices, and provides significant value for customers.”
The acquisition is CertaSite’s second in Indiana and 20th overall.
