To mark the occasion, CICP is launching a study to review business and economic successes over the past two decades.
CICP says the results will help guide future business priorities and policy decisions for a 21st century economy in the state.
“CICP is unique and special – in our structure, the quality of our board membership, the strength of our diverse sources of financial support, and the energy behind our many collaborations and essential projects,” said David Johnson, president and CEO of CICP. “CICP truly is providing both the workshop to develop and then the runway to launch the best collaborative opportunities for our region’s future success.”
The Indiana Bellwether Study will be conducted during the next 18 months. Two nationally recognized research institutes will head-up the project. Johnson says the results of the study will provide CICP with fresh analysis and recommendations to take statewide. “Our best opportunities lie ahead. We look forward to another 20 years of promise and progress,” said Johnson.
CICP is the umbrella organization for several statewide initiatives, AgriNovus Indiana, Ascend Indiana, BioCrossroads, Conexus Indiana, Energy Systems Network, and TechPoint. The combined goal is to impact the economy, increase the workforce and improve the quality of life in central Indiana.
On the AG+BIO+SCIENCE Podcast, which is produced by AgriNovus and Inside INdiana Business, each CICP organization was spotlighted as part of a mini-series special. You can find more information on the episodes by clicking here.
