Centier Bank parent announces new president

Contrucci joined Centier Bank in 2011 and previously served as director of investment services and senior vice president of community relations. He also serves on the board of directors for both First Bancshares and Centier.
“It’s my sincere honor to be named the president of First Bancshares,” Contrucci said in a news release. “I am dedicated to my role of living out Centier’s purpose of enriching lives through financial guidance for an even better tomorrow and upholding our family’s commitment to remain family-owned for generations to come.”
He is also married to bank CEO Michael E. Schrage’s daughter, making him part of the fifth generation of family ownership of the bank.
“Anthony is driven and has a passion for Centier’s perpetuity,” Schrage explained. “He possesses a strong commitment to impacting and enriching lives in our communities and sharing our Servant Heart Culture with others.”
Centier Bank operates as the largest, private, family-owned bank in the state.
