He was named the outstanding intern in the Indiana House of Representatives in 2007. Carr has served on a variety of political campaigns, including as a special assistant to gubernatorial candidate Jim Schellinger, campaign manager for Congressman André Carson, political director for the Marion County Democrat Party, and the 2015 Indianapolis City-County Council campaign coordinator. Most recently he was an appointee to the Marion County Board of Voters Registration. Carr is also deeply involved with emerging technology markets. He played a critical role in the formation of PoliticalBank, a free nationwide campaign website company for local candidates as an early and current advisor. Carr continues to provide leadership to PoliticalBank and has helped grow the client base to more than 550 candidates. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science. Carr served as president of the Student General Assembly, ex officio member on the Board of Trustees, and student nominating committee for the Indiana Commission of Higher Education.
