The Hamilton County Economic Development Corp. says the appointment will help create a shared cross-community program to support Certified Technical Education programs for the county’s six school districts.
Lively will work as an employee of HCEDC through its operating agreement with Hamilton County Tourism Inc. Earlier this month, the Hamilton County Council agreed to support the initiative with a $425,000 grant for two and a half years, when the HCCCA will become autonomous.
“She comes to the program with a history of establishing successful public-private partnerships,” said Hamilton County Economic Development Corp. Vice President of Workforce Attraction Michael Thibideau. “Connecting educators to employers will be key to making this a successful and vibrant program.”
