The operator of 20 senior living communities says Moore, who has served as CEO since 2000, will transition out of day-to-day responsibilities. Rodgers will assume duties effective October 4. He’s been serving as interim president and chief financial officer.
“It has been my great honor to serve as CEO of CarDon for the past 21 years,” said Moore. “Our company is known for providing exceptional care in vibrant communities, and I can’t thank our associates enough for their dedication to the company’s mission. Kent will be a terrific CEO for us moving forward.”
Moore will continue to serve on CarDon’s board of directors and executive committee. Rodgers joined CarDon as CFO in 2006 and was recognized as CFO of the Year by our partners at the Indianapolis Business Journal in 2008.
