In addition to cabins and space for RV and tent camping, the location also features space for a variety of events, including weddings and corporate retreats.
Owner Lisa Holverson declined to disclose the financial investment in the development, but said it would employ up to 15 people during its busiest season.
“Our vision was to turn this property into a stellar family campground based on our love for the great outdoors,” Holverson said in a news release. “We have brought life to a property with so much potential. We hope that local residents can be proud of their new gateway to Pendleton.”
Holverson said Mystic Waters also features a variety of family-friendly activities, including kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and yoga.
The development includes two larger buildings, known as The Lodge and The Shelter, which Holverson said could be rented for special events, along with “a significant amount of space” for larger event tents.
Mystic Waters said its staff will continually renovate the property and add updates and features throughout the upcoming seasons.
