Calumet Specialty Scores Military Contract

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowThe U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a major contract to Indianapolis-based Calumet Shreveport Fuels LLC. The one-year, nearly $43 million deal calls for the delivery of fuel for the military.
The DOD also awarded a nearly $108 million contract to Houston-based Shell Oil Products for the same purpose. The work for both contracts will be performed in Indiana, Texas, Alabama and Louisiana.
The work is expected to be complete by April 30, 2017. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Virginia is the contracting activity.
