The Indiana Department of Transportation says the work involves bridge replacement and repavement of a nearly 10-mile stretch in Clark and Scott counties.
The nearly year-long project in Scott and Clark counties includes demolition and reconstruction of the Brownstown Road Bridge, which has been closed since mid-June.
Anderson-based E&B Paving Inc. is the contractor working with the state on the project.
