This year’s event, which will take place September 9, will be known as the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard.
Big Machine Vodka is a product of Nashville-based Big Machine Label Group, which has had a partnership with IMS for nearly a decade. The Speedway says the new title sponsorship further strengthens that partnership.
"Our friends at Big Machine Records are the perfect partners for NASCAR racing at IMS, and the addition of Big Machine Vodka as the title sponsor for the Brickyard 400 sets the stage for an awesome weekend of motorsports and entertainment at the track," IMS President Doug Boles. "The Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard will be a can’t-miss event on the Indy sports calendar as we crown NASCAR’s regular-season champion and celebrate with a fantastic new sponsor."
Financial terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed.
This will be the first year the race will close the regular season of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The date shift was first announced in May 2017.
