Fuzic Growing in Fishers

The company says it will invest nearly $3.7 million into growth plans and will relocate to space at the Braden Building in the city’s Nickel Plate District. The fast-growing company, which debuted its proof-of-concept in 2016, creates custom audio announcements and music playlists for businesses.
Fuzic launched its mobile-ready platform in March and soon after, announced a more than $3.5 million round of funding. Chief Executive Officer Brent Oakley, who told Inside INdiana Business in March the company hoped it could stay in Fishers, calls Indiana "an outstanding state to launch and grow a business."
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. is offering around $3.5 million toward Fuzic’s expansion plans through a package of conditional tax credits and training grants. Fuzic says the jobs are expected to pay an average wage of more than 70 percent higher than the state average. It is currently adding positions including software development and sales.
The company plans to move into the new office space, which will triple its current footprint, by January.
