Bose Public Affairs Group LLC has promoted Amy Cornell to vice president. With an extensive background in agribusiness, she will lead and assist clients with the agricultural, rural development and related business sectors, focusing on policy and state and local government relations.

Since joining the firm in 2016, Cornell has represented Indiana’s farming industry including Indiana Pork. As a member of the government relations team, she has also worked with the Indiana Economic Development Association assisting Indiana’s rural communities with land use planning, policy and infrastructure.

Cornell also serves as president of the Agribusiness Council of Indiana, a coalition of 250 Midwestern grain, feed, fertilizer and ag chemical companies. In her role as president, she leads the strategic activities and planning of the association. She also directs the Emerging Professionals Leadership Program, a one-year program that provides resources on the most critical agriculture issues as well as introduces participants to key industry and policy leaders. In addition to her public affairs practice, Cornell is of counsel in the Agribusiness Group of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. She is a 2017 recipient of the Indiana Lawyer Up and Coming Lawyer Award and graduate of the Indiana Leadership Forum. Cornell was also recently selected by her peers to serve on Government Affairs Society of Indiana board, an organization dedicated to promoting the highest degree of professional and ethical conduct with government entities.

Cornell teaches agricultural law at her alma maters, the Robert H. McKinney School of Law and Purdue University. She holds a LL.M. in agricultural law from the University of Arkansas School of Law and is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association. Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Cornell served as policy advisor and counsel for Indiana Farm Bureau.
