Bose Public Affairs Group Adds to Team & Names Two Principals

He’ll serve as an alcohol and tobacco industry consultant for Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. Prior to joining the firms, Bedwell spent 25 years with the Indiana State Excise Police. He has extensive experience in working with industry members which include manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and dealers on compliance and licensing related issues. Bedwell also has vast knowledge of alcohol laws and rules. During his time as the local board coordinator, he assisted officers and permittees on the alcohol board process. He worked closely with senior-level officials within the Tax and Trade Bureau of the federal government on compliance and licensing issues. Also, James Brown and Trenton Hahn (pictured) have been promoted to principal at Bose Public Affairs Group. Brown and Hahn both previously served as senior vice presidents. Since Brown joined the firm in 2011, he has been focused on providing clients federal relations services from the firm’s office in Washington, D.C. A nuclear engineer by training, Brown leads several STEM initiatives for clients throughout the country. Prior to joining the firm, he was director for advocacy in the American Chemical Society’s Office of Public Affairs. Hahn, who joined the firm in 2010, represents a wide variety of clients before the legislative, executive and administrative branches of Indiana government with a focus on insurance policy. He is the executive director and counsel to the Association of Indiana Life Insurance Companies, a trade association representing numerous life insurance companies. Hahn is also a partner at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP where he is co-chair of the firm’s Insurance Group and a member of the Business Services Group.
