Boone EDC Elects 2017 Board Officers

Craig Anderson of Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE) will serve as president while Jamie Ford-Bowers, director of land development for Indianapolis-based HWC Engineering will serve as vice president.
Anderson succeeds Eric Estes as board president. Estes will remain as immediate past president. The additional 2017 board officers include:
- Brock Hesler, Indiana Chamber of Commerce – Secretary
- Mark Blade, Milestone Contractors – Treasurer
- Rob Schein, Krieg DeVault – At-Large
Three new members were also elected to serve on the board in 2017. They include Boone County Councilman Brian Buchanan, Wabash Valley Power Association Director of Economic Development Brian Anderson and Lee Ann Balta of Carpenter Realty.
The Boone EDC has also promoted Ben Worrell to deputy director. Worrell joined the organization in 2015 and most recently served as business development manager.
"Ben has been a tremendous asset to the Boone EDC, particularly through his efforts to assist our small businesses and recruit microbreweries to Boone County," said Molly Whitehead, Boone EDC Executive Director. "We look forward to continuing this momentum and educational programming in 2017."
