Carmel-based Blue & Co. LLC has made its third acquisition in nine months. The accounting and advisory firm has snapped up Texas-based JW Anderson & Associates PC.

Blue & Co. now has 12 offices and 370 employees in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Texas. Last month, the firm announced a merger with Cincinnati-based Fleming, Brockschmidt & Durkin.

Managing Director Brad Shaw says "we are coming off the heels of an incredibly strong year and are well-poised to continue our growth strategy. As a large regional firm, Blue & Co. is constantly looking to the market to determine its best strategy to continue to provide a holistic approach to client service while maintaining a culture that encourages employee engagement and collaboration."

Larry Anderson, managing partner of the Texas firm, says the move is a "strategic fit" and a way to help "further develop our bench strength." He founded it in 2000 and has more than 45 years of public accounting experience.
