Bloomington’s Loren Wood Builders to open Indy office

Bloomington-based Loren Wood Builders LLC says it will open a new office in downtown Indianapolis this month in what it calls a “logical step in the evolution of our company and our team.”
The new office, located at 825 Massachusetts Ave., is in the Jungclaus-Campbell building. The company said crews have started demolition of the space, and the design team is reimaging it.
Loren Wood Builders is a family-owned design-build firm, working both in the residential and commercial sectors and has expanded its services to Columbus and Indianapolis in the past few years.
The company said in a Facebook post it’s grown in its capacity and desire to serve more clients outside of Monroe County.
“Over the years, we have managed to integrate our work and our commitment to the community into many of the organizations that make Bloomington and Monroe County special,” the company said in a news release. “As we establish our office and a permanent presence in the Indy market, we are excited to seek out those same relationships and community investment opportunities.”
The goal is for the office to be operational by mid-April.
