Bloomington Hires Director of Innovation

She succeeds outgoing director Tom Miller. Kidd formerly worked in government, technology and healthcare. Kidd most recently served as managing director at Monarch Media.
Hamilton recommended the Office of Innovation in 2016 and it was approved by the City Council to lead efforts to optimize the delivery of city services. A primary objective of the office is to foresee tech advances that could affect city services and how to best respond to changes.
