Best Value Indiana Colleges Named

Subscribe NowPersonal finance website Money has released its annual list of The Best Colleges in America 2022, ranked by value, and five institutions in the Hoosier State are in the top 100 of the 600 schools listed. To analyze the schools, Money examined schools that combine quality and affordability, while also admitting at least 20% of applicants.
Purdue University is the top-ranked Indiana school coming in at number 58. It’s followed by Saint Mary’s College in South Bend at number 74, Indiana University in Bloomington ranks 92 and Depauw University in Greencastle comes in at number 93.
Noticeably missing from the list is the University of Notre Dame. The school is often named in various “best of” lists. In this case, Notre Dame was left off the list since its acceptance rate is 16%.
Money ranked the schools on 24 categories in three categories: quality of education, affordability, and outcomes, which includes earnings 10 years after college entry.
The University of Michigan was the top-ranked school.
