Subscribe NowCarmel-based nonprofit Ben’s Ranch Foundation says it is launching a search for its first full-time executive director. Since its founding in 2017, founder Brose McVey has been serving as a part-time executive director and board chairman.
The foundation arranges and supports paid, part-time internships at livestock farms, stables, and equine therapy facilities across central Indiana for teens struggling with mental health issues.
“The plan was always to bring in a paid, professional executive once we realized some level of success and reaching our potential required it,” said McVey. “Hiring an experienced executive director will allow me to focus more on strategic objectives.”
McVey says he will remain involved in Ben’s Ranch Foundation and continue to serve as board chairman.
The organization has formed a search committee to oversee the hiring process and will accept statements of interest through the end of November.
