Behavioral center boosts pay scale

Subscribe NowHarsha Behavioral Center in Terre Haute says it has increased the pay scale for full-time mental health technicians. Harsha is a freestanding, physician-owned hospital that provides 24-hour intensive psychiatric care.
The hospital says depending on the specific shift, mental health technicians will receive increased pay from $15 an hour to $17-$19 an hour.
“Harsha Behavioral Center continues to be a leader in the mental health industry, therefore increasing our staff’s minimum wage will continue to allow us to provide the highest quality of care for every single one of our patients,” said Harsha Behavioral Center CEO Roopam Harshawat.
Harsha Behavioral Center opened 15 years ago.
The organization says mental health technicians go through extensive training related to mental health and developmental disabilities. They work directly with people who are being treated for mental health concerns.
It is also currently hiring for LPNs, RNs, and CNAs.
