Basketball Hall of Fame Names Next Executive Director

Subscribe NowThe Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle has named Matt Martin its new executive director, succeeding Chris May who will step down next month. Martin has spent the past eight years as athletic director of Knightstown High School.
He also serves on Indiana High School Athletic Association Executive Committee.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to have been selected as the new Executive Director of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame,” said Martin. “The tradition, history, and passion that is the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame is something that I am looking forward to being around on a daily basis.”
Martin served as president of the IHSAA Executive Committee during the 2019-20 school year. During that time, he helped the organization navigate the retirement of commissioner Bobby Cox, the hiring of commissioner Paul Neidig and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Martin succeeds Chris May, who will complete his 13th year as the hall’s Executive Director on June 15.
