Subscribe NowElnora-based Basiloid Diversified Products plans to expand its facility in Knox County and create up to 16 jobs. Plans call for the lift truck attachment metal fabricator invest more than $1.5 million in the Bicknell location.
The company says the expansion will nearly double its production space and add administrative offices.
“Our ability to add more manufacturing space and offices in the Bicknell Industrial Park will help us
respond to increased demand. I am pleased for what this expansion means for both the company, as well as the Bicknell area,” said Basiloid owner Rob French.
The company currently employs 18 workers, with plans to hire more within the next few years. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has committed up to $100,000 in conditional tax credits, which the company will be eligible to claim once Hoosiers are hired for the new jobs.
The Bicknell City Council also has approved a 10-year abatement to support the project.
