Bar Communications Adds to Team, Makes Promotion

Subscribe NowBar Communications, an Indianapolis-based public relations and strategic communications consulting firm, has hired JoJo Gentry as director of strategic communications. She most recently served as a sports anchor/reporter for CBS4 & FOX59 in Indianapolis. Gentry earned an Emmy nomination covering the Colts, Pacers, WNBA, IndyCar and NASCAR as well as Big Ten teams and athletes across Central Indiana. A graduate of Butler University, she played golf for the Bulldogs and serves on the Indiana Golf Foundation Board. Starting in 2022, Gentry will become board chair of the Indiana Epilepsy Foundation.
Also, Katie Glick has joined the firm as vice president of engagement. She previously worked at the law firm Ice Miller LLP as a business development manager. Glick currently serves as one of Governor Eric Holcomb’s appointees on the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission and Judicial Qualifications Commission, is chair of the Indiana Leadership Council of The Policy Circle and serves as a board member of the Indiana Humanities and Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County.
Lauren Schregardus has been promoted to vice president of strategic communications. She currently serves on the board of directors of Summer Stock Stage, is a senior contributor to Indianapolis Moms and is an active alum of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy.
