Prior to her appointment, she served as a senior human resources and safety generalist for a concrete company and director of safety for DartX Inc. as well as spending 13 years as director of safety and compliance at Berger Transfer & Storage Inc. in St. Paul, Minnesota. Anderson will direct the Atlas safety management process and provide overall support and guidance to the regional, area and local transportation operations within the Atlas agent organizations. She will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing policies and procedures to promote and ensure the safety and security of the professional van operators of the Atlas Van Lines fleet.
Also, Amanda Edge has been named corporate counsel, a newly-created position. In her new role, she will provide legal counsel for Atlas World Group and its subsidiaries. Edge has a broad legal background, including her most recent role at the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Her prior employment also includes time at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs LLP in Louisville, as an associate attorney, and serving as a law clerk for U.S District Judge Joseph McKinley in Owensboro. Graduating from the University of Louisville Law School with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2012, Edge was recognized as the salutatorian of her class, along with achieving magna cum laude honors.
