When fully occupied, Gardant says the community will create 50 full- and part-time jobs.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the multi-million-dollar facility will be held February 1. The company says residents are expected to move in this month.
“We will be providing older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” said Sweet Galilee Administrator Gary Griffin. “Residents also will benefit from all of the opportunities that will be available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special programs.”
Gardant says the community combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, medication administration and support services. The development features 130 studio and one-bedroom apartments.
“Our focus is to provide Sweet Galilee residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve and the help and assistance they need,” said Rod Burkett, chief executive officer of Gardant Management Solutions. “Our emphasis is on helping each resident achieve and maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible.”
Construction on the four-story, 111,000-square-foot community began in October 2020.
