Subscribe NowThe owners of Bunker Hill Dragstrip in Miami County have lowered their asking price as they continue to pursue a sale of the 60-year-old venue. In a Facebook post, Steve and Darlene Daniels say they are "extremely tired and want to pursue other endeavors."
The owners are asking $599,000 for the dragstrip, adjoining restaurant and a three-bedroom brick ranch house. The original asking price was $650,000. The Daniels are also selling the nearby Bunker Hill Speedway property, with an asking price of $200,000.
The venue, which spans 23 acres in Miami County, opened in the mid-1950s. It was repaved in 2010. Two years later, the Daniels added the Outpost Bar and Grill.
