Appirio Names GM For Japan Office

Watanabe comes to Appirio after most recently serving as director of sales for Kenshoo Japan. The company says Watanabe will be responsible for managing new business opportunities and expanding strategic partnerships in Japan.
Appirio has also named Ellen Humphrey senior vice president of human resources. Humphrey will work in the company’s U.S. office and joins the company after serving as VP of global talent and HR operations at ExactTarget.

The cloud services company opened its first Indianapolis office in 2012 and moved its corporate headquarters to Indy last year. Appirio is partnered with major worldwide brands including Coca-Cola, eBay, Facebook and Sony Playstation.
