The rout to Orlando will run from December 18 through April 22. The airport says United also plans to resume its nonstop daily service from Indy to Fort Myers, Florida on December 16.
“This is our 22nd nonstop flight announced this year out of Indy, so we’re on a roll in working with our airline partners to get Hoosier travelers to their favorite destinations, quickly, easily and at the best price,” Indianapolis Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez said in a news release. “This flight in particular is exciting because United is increasing nonstop flights to meet traveler demand for warm, leisure destinations this winter.”
The new nonstop to Orlando is the fourth seasonal nonstop United has added in Indy this year. In May, the airline added routes to Charleston, South Carolina; Portland, Maine; and Hilton Head Island.
