She is the 7th District Chair of the Committee and replaces Marsha Coats, the wife of Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.
Hathaway was recommended to the state committee by Indiana Republican Party Chair Kyle Hupfer, and supported by Governor Holcomb. Hathaway says “In this new role, I am particularly excited to help advocate for the tremendous work President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are doing in our nation’s capital. From passing historic tax cuts, to cutting burdensome regulations, to installing on the Supreme Court a mainstream conservative justice, they are delivering on their promise to make America great again and I am proud to be part of the team,” she added.
Hathaway previously served as chief of staff at the RNC and is currently the executive director of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series.
