Schipp Joins Krieg DeVault’s Health Care Practice Group

She has more than 12 years of experience and focuses her practice in the areas of publicly financed healthcare programs, particularly Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act. Schipp has experience working in multiple areas of health care policy, and has counseled clients on a wide variety of matters including Medicaid reform strategies and managed care requirements.
She previously served as a senior policy consultant at HMA Medicaid Market Solutions, previously SVC Inc. Schipp was involved in the development and implementation of several groundbreaking Section 1115 Medicaid demonstration projects, becoming a national leader in drafting and negotiating complex Medicaid waivers. She is well-versed in both the formal guidance and unofficial policies of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is positioned to bring her years of experience working with states and CMS to assist her clients with their individual needs.
Prior to consulting, Schipp gained experience in her role at the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration, where she served as strategic initiatives programs director, managing the coordination of health policies across all of the divisions within the state’s largest agency.
She is a past recipient of the Governors’ Public Service Achievement Award. Schipp is a graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and is admitted to practice in Indiana.
