Supported by 18 global locations with facilities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, ALOM designs and delivers supply chain solutions for many of the world’s leading brands, enabling them to outsource entire business lines so that they can achieve greater efficiency while leveraging ALOM’s certified premier level of quality.
Murchland has more than 20 years of sales, business development and supply chain operations experience. He will fill a critical role in helping technology companies optimize their supply chain through a strategic partnership with ALOM. Murchland will be based in Indianapolis, where ALOM recently opened its 18th location, a 48,000-square-foot production and fulfillment facility enhancing the company’s service capacity and speed of delivery in North America for its retail and e-commerce clients.
He previously served as executive director of sales for Ingram Micro Inc. Murchland held a variety of supply chain management and sales positions during his tenure at Ingram Micro (previously Brightpoint). Prior to that, he held various sales and operations roles at Ericsson/Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications.
Murchland is involved in St. Mary’s Child Center, Carmel Dad’s Club and The Knights of Columbus. He has also served on the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association Heart Walk. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in political science and holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Bellevue University in Omaha, Nebraska. He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean Six Sigma Certification.
