The company says it will invest $3 million over the next few years as part of the long-planned move into Building 606 on the former Pfizer complex.
AIS specializes in process control devices and gauging systems for the precise, continuous measurement of thin products, like plastic and paper, at a high speed.
“With our expansion into the 606 Building we have been able to grow our services, improve our intellectual property and more than double our staff to 27 highly qualified individuals. All of which has made us one of the leading gauging system companies in the world,“ said John Young, founder and president of AIS Gauging.
Drug maker Pfizer announced in 2008 it was shutting down operations at its Terre Haute site and eliminating more than 700 jobs.
