AgriNovus announces new board members

Karen Plaut, executive vice president of research at Purdue University, will lead as the board’s new chair.
Other appointments include Trent Torrance, United Animal Health chief operating officer, as vice chair; Courtney Kingery, CEO of Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Indiana Soybean Alliance, to the executive committee; and Jose Simas, executive vice president at Elanco U.S. Farm Animal Business, as a director.
“Indiana’s agbioscience economy continues to record growth and strength thanks to the direction and support of the AgriNovus board of directors,” AgriNovus Indiana President and CEO Mitch Frazier said in a news release. “The addition of these experts to our Board brings even more leadership and industry context to our team as we work together to build the agbioscience economy of the future.”
AgriNovus Indiana is a part of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, which is comprised of five talent and industry sector initiatives.
