The AES Corp. has named Brandi Davis-Handy communications leader, AES United States. She previously served as director of external communications for Indianapolis Power & Light Co. AES has 10 businesses in the U.S., including IPL and DPL Inc. Davis-Handy previously worked for the American Cancer Society and led communications efforts for the 500 Festival.  She started her career working as a television reporter in North Carolina. Davis-Handy is also a board member of Dress For Success Indianapolis, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana and Lynx Capital Corp. A native of Indianapolis, she received her B.A. degree in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University in Virginia.
