Community Health Acquires Fairbanks

Fairbanks says the move will allow it to provide patients with more comprehensive addiction and behavioral health services.
Patients will also have access to an expansive primary-care system and network of specialists, improving improve coordination of care, according to Fairbanks.
”Being able to provide additional behavioral health services that are inevitably part of the disease of addiction furthers our ability to inspire hope in more people and transform lives in even more meaningful ways,” said Barbara Elliott, Fairbanks president and chief executive officer.
The move will be completed by December 31.
