Adams, Wells County education coalition selects first director

Imagine Early, the early childhood education coalition of Adams and Wells counties, has selected its first executive director in Ashleigh King.
The organization said in a news release that King will seek to promote the not-for-profit’s mission and expand the quality of early childhood care and education locally. Her new role will involve creating partnerships with local providers, finding funding solutions and representing the region in statewide conversations.
“My mission is simple — to amplify the voices of parents, caregivers and employers, advocating for policies and initiatives that prioritize affordable, inclusive, and accessible childcare options,” King said in the release. “Every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment to learn, grow, and explore their potential, and I’m dedicated to making that vision a reality.”
King has five years of experience in not-for-profit work in Wells County. She started in her new role earlier this month.
