1st Source Bank expands to Indianapolis with new loan office

South Bend-based 1st Source Bank has a new loan production office in Indianapolis.
The office, located at 10475 Crosspoint Blvd., is open by appointment only and is assisting customers with small business and commercial credit needs.
The bank hired Matt Darrah as Indianapolis commercial banking market president, and he will lead outreach and services for local clients. He started his banking career at 1st Source as an underwriter in the Specialty Finance Group. He’s worked in local finance in Indianapolis for the past 20 years.
“Opening a loan production office in the Indianapolis area is an exciting and strategic step forward for us, not only to grow our own organization, but to help other businesses grow too, while ultimately helping those clients achieve security, build wealth and realize their dreams,” CEO Andrea Short said in a news release.
1st Source has banking centers in 19 counties, according to the company’s website, but the new office is the bank’s first foray into the Indianapolis area.
