The RRDA has given River Ridge Executive Director Jerry Acy the green light to negotiate the sale of 55.8 acres.
The land is priced at $110,000 per acre.
“We continue to see strong interest from developers seeking to invest in development at River Ridge,” Acy said. “During 2021, we’ve continued to build relationships with national, regional and local developers to find partners who can help us meet our long-term goals.”
The RRDA says one of the projects involves approximately 15 acres. The potential purchaser plans to construct an industrial facility consisting of at least 200,000 square feet.
A second project involves the sale of approximately 25 acres. The authority says the potential purchaser would construct an industrial facility consisting of approximately 300,000 square feet.
The third project includes multiple buildings on a 15-acre tract. The RRDA says the potential purchaser would construct a total of 170,000 square feet of flex space among five buildings, ranging in size up to 50,000 square feet.
