Mayor Chris Jensen says WoodTurningz Inc. and Texon Towel and Supply Co. will collectively invest $11 million to grow their operations.
The city says the companies are splitting a nearly eight acre lot to build separate 52,500-square-feet buildings.
“We are excited to see two of Noblesville’s own expand with this new investment and jobs commitment within our community. As new investment continues to occur in Noblesville, working closely with companies that are already here is critical to ensure they have the best opportunity to thrive,” said Mayor Chris Jensen.
WoodTurningz specializes in woodworking accessories. The city says the company is outgrowing its space which serves both retail and wholesale customers. The business says the new space will allow it to increase staff and expand inventory. It also intends to launch a separate business unit that will focus on the board lumber market.
The other business is Texon Towel and Supply Co., which provides to school athletic departments, health clubs and and public recreation facilities.
Texon currently employs six full-time employees and plans to double staffing by 2026.
Each development plans to break ground in March and complete the project by early 2023.
